At Alkimos Baptist Church, the Ministry Team is never just the paid staff and pastors. We believe that God has given skills and opportunities to all of his people. That means that everyone here is part of the team. People serve one another, pray for one another, encourage one another and work together to reach the community for Jesus.

Pastor
Jordan Burgess
Jordan was appointed by North Beach Baptist Church to be the pastor and planter of Alkimos Baptist Church. Prior to vocational ministry, he worked as a physics teacher in Gawler, South Australia. He also enjoys preaching, and hearing people’s stories about God at work. Jordan and his wife Jenna have four young children – Theodore, Verity, Malachi and Felicity. Time with family is precious indeed. In his spare time, he has been known to engage in fantasy football, watch cricket or try learning biblical Hebrew.
